Imagine it. Create it. Share it.
The In Her Name Creative Industries Prize invests $10,000 to one young woman to develop their creative work, accelerate a new or existing self-developed creative project. In addition to the scholarship, In Her Name will support the recipient to access geographically accessible mentorship and opportunities to develop and showcase their work and receive mentorship through BN Collective to support their scholarship journey.

The In Her Name Business Prize invests $10,000 to one young woman to develop or scale a business or turn skills, ideas, or creativity into one. In addition to the scholarship, Wendy El-Khoury, founder and CEO of Wedded Wonderland, will provide the recipient with 12 month one-on-one business mentorship. The recipient will also access mentorship through BN Collective to support their scholarship journey.

Applications are submitted online. You will be asked to select your scholarship category.
1.Complete a personal statement sharing your journey, goals and personal aspirations for why you are applying to the scholarship.
2. Provide a pitch explaining what you will be using the scholarship for and how it will support your growth.
3. Submit supporting materials that showcase your work or personal aspirations.
4. If you prefer to submit an application by hard copy via post please email us at inhername@amf.au to receive the form.
Please note you can only submit one application per applicant and only apply for one category. If English is not your preferred language, you can submit the application form in your preferred language. You will need to inform us of this in the application form under 'Your Details' section.
We would like to highlight that written responses not submitted in English will be translated by AI in the Good Grants platform. None of your information will be shared externally, all of your data is managed and protected by the Australian Multicultural Foundation. Your privacy is our priority. We maintain secure and cyber-aware data collection and storage.

Am I eligible?
If you are a migrant or refugee woman who has experienced migration or settlement in Australia, and identify with a community that is recently established or facing settlement barriers, you are encouraged to apply.
Do I need to have a fully established to apply?
No. You can apply whether you are starting something new or growing something that already exists. The scholarship supports women at different stages of their journey.
Do I have to participate in media?
No. Participation in media or communications is optional. Your privacy and consent are respected at every stage.
Can students apply for the scholarship?
Yes. You can apply if you are currently studying, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria and the scholarship aligns with your goals.
What happens after the 12-month scholarship ends?
You remain part of In Her Name. Scholars continue to have access to the alumni network, connections, and future opportunities.
Can I submit my application by post?
Yes. If you prefer, you can submit a hard copy of your application by post. Your application pack must include a completed application form, your personal statement, pitch and budget, supporting materials, and referee details. Applications should be mailed to the Australian Multicultural Foundation before the closing date and time to ensure they are considered.
